Princess Dance Camps offer a week-long, enchanted experience for girls ages 4-6, including dancing, singing, crafting, and games focused on character building values. At the end of the week, there is a showcase performance for parents.

Royal Princess Dance Camp Details

Are you looking for a magical and enchanting experience for your little princess? Look no further than Princess Dance Camps! These camps are designed for princesses ages 4-6 and offer a variety of activities, including dancing, singing, crafting, and games.

Princess Dance Camps offer two options based on your family’s preferences: God’s Princess and Royal Princess:

  • God’s Princess is a faith-based camp focusing on Biblical truths and scriptural principles.
  • Royal Princess is designed to help your little one develop strong, confident, and brave character qualities.

All princesses will participate in the same base curriculum regardless of which camp you choose.

At Princess Dance Camps, your child will learn how to dance and discover what it means to be a princess. Our camps are designed to be both fun and educational, and we strive to create a positive and nurturing environment for all of our princesses.

At the end of the week, parents are invited to attend the Princess Showcase, where they can watch their little princesses perform a short and delightful performance. This is a great opportunity for parents to see all their child has learned and accomplished during the camp.

The highlight of our camp is the dazzling end-of-camp performance, scheduled for Friday at 11 am. You won’t want to miss this extraordinary showcase of your child’s newfound talents. Watch as they twirl and sparkle on stage, bringing the enchanting Princess world to life. It’s not just about the moves; it’s about celebrating their growth in confidence and creativity throughout the week.

Leotard, tights and ballet shoes. There are no specific color requirements. On Friday, we ask that dancers wear a pink leotard. They will receive a tutu for the performance.

Dancers will need to bring a light snack.

The ROOTS camp staff includes a dedicated group of vetted and experienced teachers. Most are year-round ROOTS mentors, but some have been hired specifically for their camp because of their expertise in the summer camp topic.

What are the guidelines for drop-off and pick-up times, and is after-camp care available?2024-01-03T21:46:14-06:00

You may drop off your child 15 minutes prior to the start of the camp. Pick-up should be promptly arranged at the camp’s scheduled end time. Please note that we do not offer after-camp care services.

What is the procedure and policy for withdrawing a student from a camp, and are refunds available?2024-01-03T21:45:03-06:00

In the event that you need to cancel your student’s enrollment in a camp, a refund is available under specific conditions. If the cancellation is made more than one month prior to the camp’s start date, you are eligible for a reimbursement in the original form of payment. Please note, however, that a processing fee of $50 will be deducted from the refund amount.

To request a refund, please reach out to us at either music@rootsacademy.com or dance@rootsacademy.com, depending on the type of camp your student is enrolled in. We are happy to assist you through the refund process.

Is current enrollment in lessons or classes at ROOTS a requirement for participating in a camp?2024-01-03T21:23:31-06:00

No, it’s not required to be currently enrolled at ROOTS to register for one of our summer camps. We welcome everyone, regardless of whether they are a part of our regular programs. We’d be delighted to have you join us for summer camps, even if you’re not a current student!

Will there be an opportunity to view my child’s accomplishments during the camp?2024-01-03T21:26:28-06:00

At the conclusion of all ROOTS Camps, with the exception of the Dance Intensive, we organize a performance that highlights the skills and knowledge acquired by the students throughout the camp. The specifics of each performance may differ depending on the camp and will be communicated in detail as the camp dates approach.

Will my student need to bring a lunch, snack, or drink to camp with them?2019-07-03T11:45:53-05:00

Some camps will run through lunchtime and will require students to bring a packed lunch. Make sure you read through your camp’s description to see if lunch will be needed. ROOTS will provide snacks for camps.

We have water dispensers stationed around the studio, and we encourage students to bring refillable water bottles.

The selection of an appropriate camp for your child primarily depends on their age. We offer a range of camps designed to cater to students between the ages of 4 to 18 years. Each camp is tailored to be age-appropriate and engaging, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for beginners in dance. ROOTS Music offers in-studio, in-home, and online music lessons on piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin, ukulele, songwriting, music production, and more! Band, ensemble and group classes are also available.

ROOTS Dance offers a wide array of preschool, recreational, and competitive dance classes for ages 18 months to 18 years. Classes are available Monday through Saturday in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, acro, and more.
