Kelsey grew up in Alabama and began dancing at the age of 2. Training in jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet and hip-hop, Kelsey started her competition career at North Alabama Dance Center. Kelsey did most of her training at Jackie O’Neal School of Dance where she competed competitively across the southeast. She was also a UDA All-Star and a member of the nationally ranked Spain Park High School dance team.

Throughout this time, she was given the opportunity to dance for iconic choreographers like Bonnie Story and Denise Galjour.Since then, Kelsey graduated from the University of Alabama. During this time she worked with organizations such as The PULSE on Tour, Open Call, Dance Masters of America and Platinum Dance Competition.

She has been able to choreograph for multiple award-winning dance teams, studios and groups throughout Alabama and Tennessee.Kelsey is in her 7th season as a teacher at Roots Academy teaching jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip-hop.
