We have various dance and acro-related equipment available for dance-related activities. If you are using our music studios, sound equipment and instruments are available upon request. There will be a small equipment rental deposit and fee for the use of this equipment.

Renting our space means that your event attendees are in direct agreement to do business with you, not with ROOTS Academy. Because of this, you are legally liable for any incidences that could occur during your rental, including but not limited to bodily injury, associated medical costs, personal injury, and damage to ROOTS property. Bands will participate in multiple live performances throughout the year. Performance opportunities range from playing at the semi-annual OnStage Band Show, RMA FEST, as well as at local festivals and music venues in the Franklin/Nashville area.
Band Auditions are open to musicians 11 years and older, even if they’re not currently enrolled in private lessons at ROOTS. However, once accepted into the OnStage program, all members must be committed to private lessons at ROOTS (recommended) or show proof of enrollment elsewhere.

OnStage Live Auditions for the 2025-26 Band session are June 6th* from 9:30AM-3PM. *If a student is not available on June 6th, makeup auditions are July 21. Music offers in-studio, in-home, and online music lessons on piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin, ukulele, songwriting, music production, and more! Band, ensemble and group classes are also available.
Dance offers a wide array of preschool, recreational, and competitive dance classes for ages 18 months to 18 years. Classes are available Monday through Saturday in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, acro, and more.
Musical Theatre combines acting, singing, and dancing into one story-filled show. Classes, camps and productions are available for ages 7-18 years.
