We truly understand the importance of every investment you make. However, once recital related fees are paid, they directly contribute to the planning and production of the recital. Because of this, we're unable to offer refunds for costume and participation fees. We hope for your understanding and appreciate your support.
Recital participation requires one costume fee per routine (around $95+ tax) and one Performance Fee (about $180) per participant. For your convenience, these fees are split up throughout the year. Recital participation is not required, however, it is strongly recommended. We expect that all ROOTS dancers are performing in the Recital unless we hear otherwise. If you are unable to perform, please email us as soon as possible at dance@rootsacademy.com
All Preschool (Ages 3-5), Peewee (5-6) Mini (7-8), Junior (9-11), Teen (12-15) and Senior (15-18) dancers participate in the recital. The following classes will NOT perform a routine in Recital: Toddler, Acro, Pre-Pointe, and Skills

Sure! During the months of September through January a make-up class may be scheduled for a missed Toddler, Preschool, Peewee or Mini level class up to one month after the missed class. At this time, we do not offer any ROOTS adult dance classes. However, check out some ROOTS friends who host classes at the studio during the week. Music offers in-studio, in-home, and online music lessons on piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin, ukulele, songwriting, music production, and more! Band, ensemble and group classes are also available.
Dance offers a wide array of preschool, recreational, and competitive dance classes for ages 18 months to 18 years. Classes are available Monday through Saturday in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, acro, and more.
Musical Theatre combines acting, singing, and dancing into one story-filled show. Classes, camps and productions are available for ages 7-18 years.
