Victoria Kelley
about Victoria
Victoria Kelley’s musical journey is a testament to the transformative power of persistence and passion. Growing up in Georgia, Victoria was surrounded by music, with the sound of her father’s banjo filling their home. Her early exposure to music laid the foundation for a lifelong love of the art form, one that blossomed into a dynamic career as a musician and mentor. Victoria’s path began with the mandolin at the age of eight, inspired by Sierra Hull. Her dedication led her to perform in her family’s bluegrass band, nurturing a sense of community and joy in music from an early age. The support of mentors like Chris Henry and Sharon Gilchrist fueled her growth, and her love for music soon expanded to include singing, songwriting, and an array of instruments. In Nashville, Victoria honed her craft further, learning from industry greats like Grammy nominee Jim VanCleve. These experiences cemented her belief in the importance of mentorship and community, inspiring her to become a mentor who fosters both skill and self-belief in her students.
